We wouldn’t complain at all if we were given the new E-Class for it’s a very handsome and very potent (AMG E43) machine. But, Lorinser has just made it even better looking and yes, ever more powerful.

The new saloon may look just like a bigger C-Class (or smaller S-Class…) but it more than holds its own when compared to rivals such as the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series. But now, the German tuner – who has been tweaking Mercs ever since 1930 and sure knows how to do them right – has revealed a new body kit for the W213-generation model. And it looks very tasty.

They’ve added a new front splitter, rear bumper finisher (which features aero flicks and tailpipe housings), rocker panel skirt, and a rear wing. And the entire kit has been made out of carbon fibre. In all four corners sits Lorinser’s new one-piece forged RS11 21in alloys wrapped with large 255/30ZR21 front and 295/25ZR21 rear tyres. It has also been lowered and as for the cabin, it packs aluminium pedal finishers, floor mats and illuminated door sills.

That’s not all. Lorinser says it can increase the power by fitting a new engine management system and if you happen to have the aforementioned AMG E43 which already makes a very healthy 393 horses from its twin-turbo, 3.0-litre V6, well they can take that total up to 434 and 600Nm of torque.
