The all-new Range Rover Velar hasn’t even gone on sale yet (it was only last month that it made its debut at the Geneva motor show) but that hasn’t stopped Lumma Design from playing around with its classy new looks.

The tuner has added a wide-body kit to the model that sits between the Evoque and the Sport and if you liked the clean and minimalist look of the newbie, then you might just want to look away from this one. The Winterlingen, Germany-based tuning house – which is celebrating its 30th anniversary - seems to have wiped the class right off the Velar what with the garish body conversion. It includes a more distinctive front spoiler with mesh inserts, massive 22in wheels (the wheel arches were made bigger to house the new alloys…), stainless steel sports exhaust tips, a rear spoiler lip, and a vented carbon-fibre bonnet with a black grille which replaces the foil stamped one. If that wasn’t all bad enough, the tuner has finished it all off in a bright green paint job. At least they took the “Range Rover” badge off the bonnet and replaced it with “Lumma CLR GT” because something tells us Land Rover wouldn’t be happy with this one at all…

As for performance, Lumma plans to upgrade power too; the stock engine options includes two 2.0-litre four-cylinder engines and a 3.0-litre V6 making 300 horses but the tuner will no doubt up the ante.
