Carlex Design is used to sprucing up the interiors of sportscars and supercars — but it’s dabbled with the world’s toughest truck and the result is wild.
It chose the Toyota as its first project for its newly created Pickup Design division and gave it new front and rear bumpers, a roof spoiler, arch extensions, bonnet cover, bespoke decals, new exhaust system and a set of 18in Black Rhino Razorback alloys wrapped with BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres. It also got a Pedders full suspension lift-kit. Dubbed the Toyota Hilly, the Polish tuner then turned its attentions to the cabin and added hand-stitched leather on the steering wheel and seats and threw in goodies such as a new sound system and chrome trim.
