Who doesn’t love the classic AMC Javelin? It was one of the hottest muscle cars of the Sixties and Seventies — but its output can’t be compared to some of the muscle cars of today — however, the Ringbrothers have put that right, and how...

The duo from Wisconsin are well known for their stunning restomod creations and they have revealed a 1,000 horsepower 1972 AMC Javelin AMX! How does it make almost five times its original output? Well, with a 6.2-litre supercharged Hellcat V8 of course! It, as you know, makes 707 horses but to get even more power out of it, the brothers added a Whipple 4.5-litre Supercharger. A Bowler automatic sends the power to the rear wheels and it packs a custom stainless steel exhaust and rides on 20in wheels wrapped with sticky Michelin tyres.

It gets a new carbon fibre bonnet, front fenders, grille and front valance while the taillights, bumpers and engine bay accessories are all machined out of aluminium blocks. We. Love. It.
