BMW builds several coupe-style SUVs and although the X2 and X4 are good we still prefer the X6 — and this one designed by TopCar takes the cake.
The Russian firm is more familiar with working on Mercedes and Porsches but has been branching out lately (remember the aftermarket specialist’s Urus in last week’s column?) and has turned its attentions to the BMW before a new third-generation model arrives in a couple of years. It’s added a Lumma CLR X6 R body kit on the swoopy family hauler along with 22in double-spoke wheels, new bumpers, spoilers and side skirts to give it far more presence. And who could fail to notice the Amethyst metallic paint taken from Porsche’s option list? It also has a sport-exhaust system with quad exhaust tips like those on the Corvette. Nice.
