The 2016 edition of SEMA show, the mother of all aftermarket and automotive specialty products expos, is around the corner. And Korean giant Hyundai is coming to the show in style, ready to display four of its cars at the Las Vegas extravaganza. Hyundai Motor America, in partnership with tuners Rockstar Performance Garage, Gurnade, ARK Performance and Bisimoto, will bring two Santa Fe-based exhibits, a Veloster-based racecar concept and an extreme Elantra.

The first, dubbed Rockstar Santa Fe Concept, is a nitrous-powered version of the family hauler, but tweaked to give it some serious off-roading capabilities. Co-developed with Rockstar Performance Garage, the concept boasts a 3.3-litre Lambda V6 engine, driving all four wheels, and a raised ride height.

The race-ready Gurnade Veloster Concept throws in some aggressive body kit including integrated flares, front splitter, racing canards, a set of three-piece lightweight forged wheels and a custom rear spoiler to the Veloster’s already sporty looks.

Then there’s the matte black ARK Road Racer Elantra Concept, which is tuner ARK Performance’s take on the compact family saloon. Its appearance has been bolstered with the help of integrated flares, extended forged racing wheels and re-imagined front and rear fascia designs. “ARK Performance knows the Hyundai brand almost as well as our own,” says Kevin Bentley, developer of the ARK Elantra Concept. “We strive to leverage the superb product development of Hyundai engineers, building upon their expertise while offering something really special to enthusiasts. The ARK Road Racer Elantra Concept offers the specific model enhancements that our customers have come to expect from ARK.”

Last, but not by any means least is Santa Fast, a wild Santa Fe fettled by Bisimoto, and pumping out 1,040 horsepower from a flex-fuel, turbocharged, 3.8-litre Lambda V6 driving the rear wheels.
