At CES this year, a startup company will be unveiling its latest product and it looks like a mash up of the ForTwo and Twizy. And, we like it.
The Eli Zero could be the star attraction at the global consumer electronics and consumer technology trade show that takes place every January in Las Vegas, Nevada. Eli, the electric vehicle company, says its new model will re-imagine the “future of urban mobility to create the world you want to live in.” We’re not quite sure what that means but not much else about the two-seater, which has a similar shape as the Renault and looks like it’d be as fun to hoon as the Smart, is known as of now – apart for the fact that it will have a glass rear window. You can’t get that on the Twizy. We like the tiny grille, compact headlights (with LED daytime running lights around the edges) and the bulbous windshield and although its dimensions have not been revealed yet, it sure looks smaller than the ForTwo.
The statement adds, “We believe Eli introduces an advanced, yet simple product that will fundamentally shift how we engage with urban fabrics. Smaller, simpler and friendlier, Eli Zero is the ultimate two seater mobility device for agile daily movement.”
All will be revealed at the show along with the long-teased Faraday Future electric crossover which is expected to be on display in production guise.
