Eadon Green heads to Geneva. Wait, who?

New carmaker to reveal Black Cuillin at the motor show next month
January 24, 2017

No, this isn’t a new model from either Delahaye or Delage, two companies that used to build cars in the Twenties and Thirties, but it so could be. Instead, this teaser image is by er, a company called Eadon Green. No, we’ve never heard of them either but this apparently new firm is going to be heading to the Geneva motor show next month and will present the Black Cuillin grand tourer. Hmm, to say we are intrigued would be an understatement and we bet Morgan is sitting up and taking notice too.

It won’t just be the new car on display, oh no. Eadon Green plans to treat showgoers to photos and specifications along with the story of how the car was conceptualized, designed and produced. Since we know nothing about these guys or this car, the more info they give us the better. All we have to go by for now are some line-drawings that preview the retro coupé. It’s been named after a mountain range on the Isle of Skye off the Scottish coast, but the company is actually based in Shoreditch, London. Hmm, maybe calling it the Wesley’s Chapel and Museum of Methodism would be more apt, if a little wordy…

We like their badge; it’s a coat of arms with the word ‘integrity’ and surrounded by a grey ring with the name of the company. At least we know these guys believe in the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Guess we’ll know for sure on March 9.
