We were already looking forward to Forza Motorsport 7 what with it promising to be the most advanced and realistic racing simulator out there (it has more than 30 courses and 700 cars ranging from 1970 to 2017 – we’ll take the 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, thanks!) but our excitement has doubled what with the news that Turn 10 Studios has revealed another list of cars called the "Honnigan Car Pack." That can only mean one thing of course – yep, it’s your chance to drive Ken Block’s seven favourite Hoonigan vehicles!
The pack includes the 1965 Hoonigan Ford "Hoonicorn" Mustang which Ken used to tear up the streets of Los Angeles and the 1979 Hoonigan Baldwin Motorsports "Loki" K5 Blazer. You’ll also get to play with the 1955 Hoonigan Chevrolet Bel Air, 1972 Hoonigan Chevrolet "Napalm Nova," 1978 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS1800, 1992 Hoonigan Mazda RX-7 Twerkstallion, and last but not least, the 1991 Hoonigan Rauh-Welt Begriff Porsche 911 Turbo. All you have to do is pre-order Forza Motorsport 7 to unlock this wild pack.
“I'm really excited about the fact that we're releasing a Hoonigan car pack with Forza,” said Block. “The fact that fans are going to be able to drive not just my twin-turbo, 1,400 horsepower Hoonicorn RTR V2 that I'm running in Climbkhana, but also my Gymkhana Escort, is awesome. Plus being able to drive BJ's Loki, [Brian] Scotto's 911 and all of the other cars? None of us actually let anyone else drive our cars really, so this is definitely the best chance anyone's going to have to get behind the wheels.”
The new Forza Motorsport 7 will be released on October 3 for Xbox and PC, while pre-ordering for the Ultimate Edition unlocks access on September 29.
