Since the current Mercedes-AMG E 63 was launched in 2013, tuners such as Brabus, Wheelsandmore and Performmaster have tried transforming the saloon.
Now, it’s Posaidon’s turn.
Let’s cut to the chase — the German tuner has raised the output to 1,020 horsepower. Wow indeed. Posaidon’s programme, called the RS850+, features upgrades for the exterior, interior and chassis, but it’s under the bonnet improvements that have our attention.
The 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 has been heavily tuned and sees the addition of a pair of larger turbochargers, new intercoolers and a bespoke carbon fibre-encased intake system. This E 63 can do 0-100kph in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 350kph.
