The M5 F90 sure is a special sports saloon; it doesn’t just have loads of horsepower (600!) it also has an ever so sophisticated drivetrain which can switch between AWD and RWD as and when the driver chooses. It’s easily one of the best potent four-doors you can get right now — but this hasn’t stopped tuners, such as G-Power, to give enthusiasts more reasons to buy it.
The Germans have revealed a new upgrade kit for the BMW that can make the 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 even angrier. Its Stage 1 upgrade increases power by 99 horses which makes it more potent than the Ferrari 488 GTB.
Stage 2 gives the M5 grand total of 739 horses and a colossal 789 horses can be achieved thanks to a tweak of the ECU and a titanium exhaust with four 4.0in carbon/titanium tailpipes. With the latter, G-Power says the BMW will be able to 100kph from rest in just 2.9 seconds. Remember, in stock form, it takes the M5 3.4 seconds to do likewise when equipped with the optional M Driver’s Package.
G-Power also adds a Venturi RR bonnet made from carbon fibre and a set of 21in wheels in a stylish double-spoke design. Very nice indeed.
