If you haven’t got the dosh for the X4 M then don’t worry for AC Schnitzer’s got your back — and it comes in the shape of their customised BMW boasting a host of carbon fibre components not to mention a new suspension and some extra firepower.
This pumped up variant sits lower to the ground than the stock model thanks to a custom suspension spring kit which doesn’t just look good, it improves the SAV’s ability in the corners too.
The aerodynamics have been improved via a new front spoiler, rear roof spoiler, boot lid spoiler, and a carbon fibre Racing rear wing.
Other mods include custom side emblems and new engine optics and rounding off the exterior are a set of 20in AC1 BiColor or anthracite alloys. 22s are also available and as for the cabin, AC Schnitzer adds aluminium pedals, a footrest and an aluminium cover for the iDrive controller.
The motor has been poked and prodded too; the stock xDrive30d makes 261 horses but this is increased to 310 while the xDrive M40d goes from 321 horses to 374. The M40i gets a custom downpipe with sports catalytic converter which should deliver a nice new soundtrack.
