Al Tayer Motors, the official importer for Maserati in the UAE, has launched the new Quattroporte here this week. The latest iteration of the Italian brand’s flagship saloon, which was unveiled in Dubai on November 7, will be at Premier Motors’ Maserati showroom in Abu Dhabi on November 16 and at the Al Tayer Motors showroom in Sharjah on November 28 for private previews. The updated model gets exterior tweaks including a new front grille design inspired by the Alfieri, redesigned bumper with matte black profile at the front and matte black extractor at the rear. The latest Quattroporte also gets matte black side skirts and exterior mirrors as part of the restyling.
There are changes in the cabin as well, which gets a redesigned dashboard with an 8.4in infotainment screen and a restyled lower console with new rotary knobs for volume and functions control. The infotainment system is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration systems. A host of the latest tech features have been added, including adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, lane departure warning, Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist and Automated Emergency Braking, and Surround View Camera. Also, the Ferrari-built 3.0-litre V6 engine now puts out 350bhp, which is 20 horses more than before.
The new model is available for order at showrooms across the UAE with a starting price of Dh389,000.
