There will be plenty to see at the Geneva motor show next month including the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, the Volkswagen Arteon and the Pagani Huarya Roadster – and although the latter has us pretty excited, it’s another convertible that has caught our attention before it’ll be revealed to showgoers; the Vengeance Volante by Kahn Design.

Kahn Design, the British tuner that usually busies itself with customizing Land Rovers, revealed the Vengeance coupé at the last year's Geneva motor show and has now teased an image of the newbie which will breathe new life into the aging DB9 Volante, on which it is based. The 6.0-litre V12 drop-top Aston Martin will feature fresh bodywork and will no doubt express the same muscular boldness as the tin-top, minus the roof of course. From what we can tell from the shadowy pic, the Vengeance Volante will carry over the coupé’s signature roulette-style, and two-tone alloys and possibly even the round taillights. It’ll make around 510 horsepower and 620Nm of torque.

It is believed that only three Vengeance Volantes will be built but if this is not your sort of thing, then worry not for Aston Martin will also be bringing the 2018 Vanquish S Volante to the show and then next year there’ll be a brand new offering from Gaydon to enjoy – the DB11 Volante.
