Recently, Mansory teased an image of its take of the Bentayga and it didn’t look too bad. This was possibly because more than half of the Bentley was covered up… That might be a tad harsh but, come on, you know how over the top Mansory’s creations are so we’re not holding our breath for anything less than a carbon-fibre overkill of the luxury SUV. But, in the meantime, another tuner has taken the wraps of its own version of the Bentayga and we have to say, it looks really good indeed. And that tuner is Startech.
The subsidiary of Brabus has given the SUV’s exterior a new front bumper with an integrated spoiler and larger air intakes (with honeycomb mesh grille inserts) while around the back, it has air deflectors, a sports exhaust system (with four exhaust tips), a tailgate-mounted spoiler, and a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. That’s just the start of Startech’s upgrades; the wide-body kit looks pretty good but customers can spec a lowering module to reduce the ride height by as much as 25mm. The 23in alloys look pretty tasty too and they have been wrapped in a set of sticky Continental SportContact 6 high-performance tyres. As for the interior, Startech offers it all it seems from premium leather upholstery to exotic wood trim while customers can further dress the cabin up with aluminium pedals, velour floor mats, and carbon fibre accents.
The tuner is still working on a tuning programme for the Bentayga's biturbo 6.0-litre W12 and for now, it hasn’t revealed any figures. However, we’re sure it will find a way to surpass the standard models 600 horsepower.
