With bold new looks and new optional engine options, GMC has revealed the refreshed for 2020 Acadia mid-size SUV.
The lineup includes SLE, SLT, an all-new AT4 trim and GMC’s flagship Denali, with available seating arrangements for up to seven passengers depending on the model. There’s a new 230 horsepower 2.0-litre turbocharged engine (350Nm of torque) and a new nine-speed automatic transmission that replaces the standard six-speed with a new Electronic Precision Shift; out goes the conventional shifter to free up interior room. Both the 2.5-litre inline-four and the 3.6-litre V6 engines remain standard or optional equipment and all feature a stop/start deactivation switch.
The exterior features a new grille, new front and rear fascias, GMC’s signature C-shaped lighting, hands-free power liftgate with GMC logo projection standard on SLT, AT4 and Denali and unique 17in wheels and all-terrain tyres (18- and 20in wheels are also available). The 2020 model packs smarter technologies too including the latest GMC infotainment system with improved voice recognition and new Head-up Display. Additional tech include next-generation 15-watt wireless charging, and High Definition Rear Vision Camera4 upgraded to digital (standard on SLT, AT4 or Denali and available on SLE).
We’re hoping to see the 2020 Acadia here towards the end of the year.
