We’ve been hearing all sorts of rumours about what the latest Lamborghini supercar would look like but we didn’t expect an image of it to be leaked online – but it has via the owners-only Unica app. Reportedly called the Sian, the hybrid is set be launched at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show this month and so far all we’ve had are a couple of dark teaser images to go by, until this blooper. The Italian automaker wanted to give an exclusive look to Lambo owners via its mobile app and (fortunately) one owner couldn’t keep this secret too well!
The 2020 Sian will be a hybridized version of the Aventador SVJ and will be limited to possibly 80 copies each costing approximately $3.6 million. Rumour has it that they’ve all already been sold too. Specifications are no confirmed as of yet but it is expected to pack the same 770 horsepower 6.5-litre V12 in the Aventador – but with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system adding 30 horses for a total of at least 800 horses. The solitary image reveals what appears to be a double bubble roof with special intakes and it is believed that it will feature a large diffuser with triple taillights and two large exhaust tips.
An official announcement is expected very soon before it makes its debut on the 10th of September at Frankfurt.
