Less than four months after the all-new Bentley Flying Spur was revealed, the uber-premium sports saloon is available to order across the Middle East. Dubbed as the ‘world’s most advanced luxury grand touring sports sedan’, the new Flying Spur has been re-designed from the ground up and promises to offer the best blend of limousine luxury and sportscar performance.
Powered by an enhanced version of the 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged W12, mated to a dual-clutch eight-speed transmission, the Flying Spur churns out 626bhp and 900Nm of torque, does 0-100kph in just 3.8 seconds and hits a top speed of 333kph. Designed, engineered and handcrafted at the Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, England, the new model benefits from an advanced aluminium and composite chassis and electronic architecture.
The new design language adds to its sophisticated yet brawny proportions, with the newly-designed ‘Flying B’ mascot, the cut-crystal effect LED matrix headlamps and new wrap-around rear lamps with ‘B’ motifs adding to its overall appearance.
Its long wheelbase affords a spacious and luxurious cabin that’s decked out in an extensive list of Single and Dual Veneer wood options, fluted leather upholstery, unique Mulliner Driving Specification diamond quilting on the seats and three-dimensional diamond quilted leather door inserts.
We are driving the new Bentley Flying Spur in the South of France this week. So look out for a detailed review soon.
