Infiniti has officially revealed the all-new QX55 SUV, the successor to the iconic FX. A more modern take on the FX, the new QX55 sports the same silhouette with its sloping roofline and flowing lines.
“The new INFINITI QX55 is a statement-maker, designed to deliver first-class comfort and stand out everywhere it goes. It’s a unique fusion of style and substance” said Infiniti Chairman Peyman Kargar.
The QX55’s fascia is anchored by the brand’s signature double-arch grille with an origami-inspired mesh pattern, flanked by standard LED headlights that are apparently inspired by the human eye.
In profile, a character line flows from the bonnet over the front fenders, across the doors, and over the rear wheels. Twenty-inch wheels are standard on all QX55 models.
The rear of the QX55 has a minimalist and uncluttered design, with “piano key” taillights that combine 45 separate LEDs in a single housing.
Inside, the QX55 features a dual-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and multiple USB inputs for charging.
Powering the QX55 is a four-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 268 horsepower and 380Nm of torque.
