Maserati’s latest supercar, made its regional debut in the UAE with Al Tayer Motors becoming the first dealer to launch the Italian model in the region. The MC20 is positioned as the first step in Maserati’s shift towards a new era, paving the way for the brand’s future direction.
Beneath the MC20’s aerodynamic lines is the Nettuno engine, a 630 horsepower V6 with 730Nm of torque, that helps propel the sportscar from 0-100kph in under 2.9 seconds and to a top speed over 325kph.
Maserati is also focusing more on personalisation of its cars with the new ‘Fuoriserie’ program that offers clients the opportunity to experience a “car tailoring” shop, which will be at the Modena headquarters.
To help customers find their way around the thousands of possible combinations, three collections are available as a starting-point: Corse, Unica and Futura. Maserati says each collection expresses the brand’s power and represents its values, blending performance with elegance and innovation.
A one-off Quattroporte, designed as part of a collaboration between the Maserati Centro Stile and the Garage Italia team, will be part of the Fuoriserie Program roadshow in the UAE. It combines pure white with rainbow mica that reflects the entire colour spectrum.
Following its UAE debut, the MC20 and Fuoriserie Program will go on a roadshow across Middle East and Africa. It will be available for private viewing in the Maserati showrooms in the UAE until February 9. The Maserati MC20 is expected to arrive in dealerships in the MEA region in Q4 2021.
