We’re looking forward to the Dubai International Motor Show next month (14-18 November) what with the promise of a clutch of exciting regional debuts such as Cadillac’s Escala concept.
The prototype, which amplifies the new design DNA of the New York car brand introduced with the new CT6 and XT5 models, will be one of the many highlights on display. Cadillac has also announced that the new 2018 XTS Platinum will enjoy its regional debut at the region’s largest automotive show.
Designed to be both a driver’s car and an indulgent flagship saloon, Cadillac’s Escala concept showcases future design and technical systems in development and is a concept for a more expressive, expansive companion to the recently launched CT6.
Christian Soemmer, managing director of Cadillac Middle East, commented, “Escala is extremely important for Cadillac as it both previews the brand’s future design direction and helps build the brand’s aspirational character, signaling our commitment to be the pinnacle of premium motoring. For these reasons alone, it will be a must-see for automotive connoisseurs at the show.”
For show goers looking for an adrenaline rush Cadillac’s performance models will also be on show. Bringing both luxury and power in one machine, the Cadillac CTS-V super saloon is the third generation of the acclaimed luxury performance car powered with a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 making 640 horsepower and 855Nm of torque.
Joining the CTS-V will be the Cadillac ATS-V saloon and coupe.
