The Aston Martin Vantage Roadster is getting all the attention at the moment and rightly so because it’s just gorgeous but just as exciting is news that 2021 coupe will be offered with a seven-speed manual gearbox!

The manual will be an alternative offering to the existing eight-speed automatic and this news will be music to the ears of the stick-shift faithful. It will be available for the standard coupe but not for the new roadster, at least not yet.

The gearbox, supplied by Graziano, first appeared on the previous-generation Vantage and not only will it make the luxury sportscar more to drive but it will also drive the price of it down; the Vantage coupe starts at $149,995, but the price for a new coupe equipped with the stick shift drops to $146,000.

What’s more, the British carmaker is offering a "vane" egg-crate grille on both the Vantage coupe and roadster for those who want something different to the existing "hunter" design and there are new wheel options being offered too.

And remember, the Vantage is powered by a 503 horsepower 4.0-litre V8 and if that wasn’t exciting enough, the prospect of having it with a manual will be. Aston Martin sure is aiming for the heart of the enthusiast market with this exciting news.
